New Regional Advisory Boards and Regional Business Director – EMEA Help Drive PCMA’s Strategic-Growth Plans


PCMA’s vision to inspire, connect, and innovate with the business-events community globally has been in development over the past two-and-a-half years, and has gotten a major boost with the establishment of two regional advisory boards — one in Europe and the other in Asia-Pacific.

The newly formed boards will consist of leading members of the business-events community across both regions. They were created to provide strategic advice and counsel to both the PCMA Board of Directors and its executive team. The groups will meet for the first time here at Convening Leaders in Austin and will gather again later in 2017.

In another strategic move, PCMA has hired Luca Favetta as regional business director – EMEA. Favetta joins PCMA after a substantial career in corporate events, having led global teams for HP and SAP. At PCMA, he will grow PCMA’s brand awareness and customer engagement in EMEA, and assist headquarters in developing innovative business-events education and engagement strategies for the EMEA region, focusing on Europe.
