Collaboration Is a Longstanding Tradition for Uber Partner Freeman

For more than a decade, Freeman has collaborated with PCMA with a shared goal of helping organizations demonstrate the true value of face-to-face meetings and events. This year, Freeman, a leading provider of integrated services for experiential marketing in event marketing and management, serves as an Uber Partner for Convening Leaders 2017. Uber Partners are recognized as the highest level of sponsorship.

According to Freeman Chief Marketing Officer Chris Cavanaugh, PCMA’s leadership, combined with Freeman’s innovative technology, creates unique and immersive brand experiences for the meetings industry.

“Freeman is putting design thinking into practice using the Freeman Learning Cycle, a design-driven methodology that captures and capitalizes on project intelligence to create higher-quality work, better client satisfaction, and reduced inefficiencies,” Cavanaugh said. “This is not only to benefit ourselves and our clients as we innovate in the category of brand experience, but the industry as a whole.”

As part of its Uber Partnership, Freeman supports a number of Convening Leaders initiatives, including the Experience Insights Lab, several education sessions, behind-the-scenes Main Stage Production Labs, the PCMA newsletter, PCMA Daily, and a behind-the-scenes media tour.

Freeman continues to evolve and innovate the brand-experience category with initiatives that inspire massive change on a global scale using data-driven insights to connect people in ways that are meaningful and measurable. For example, Freeman is leading the industry with its new virtual-reality event-technology studio and its new event-measurement technology, Quant.

“Event measurement is archaic at best in the brand-experience industry, yet measurement is a key component of any strategy,” Cavanaugh said. “Quant, developed by Freeman, will be the first time the industry will be able to measure across events in real time to drive ROI and develop benchmarks. With virtual reality, we believe it’s a matter of when, not if, the technology will change everything.”

Similarly, Freeman has expanded its vision with the creation of its Design Leadership Council. This influential group of 10 global design visionaries and experts is leading the future of design for experiential marketing.

“The council was created and selected by Freeman’s chief design officer, award-winning design-industry legend and author Bruce Mau,” Cavanaugh said. “The group will advise Freeman as curators of relevant developments in their areas of expertise to accelerate the strategic transformation of branded experiences for Freeman, and ultimately the industry as a whole.”

In the end, Cavanaugh said, serving as an Uber Partner for Convening Leaders 2017 is about sharing in education, research, and networking for the meetings industry.
