Michael Greto

Michael is a graduate from The University of Alabama (92’) and started his career at the Georgia Dome in Suite Sales managing corporate clients for his first year. He then accepted a role in Banquet Operations for MGR Food Services ( now Levy ) and spent 7 years in a variety of sales, marketing and conference services management positions at the 4th largest convention center in the U.S. managing and executing corporate tradeshows, meetings and incentives.

In 1999, he accepted a position as Business Development Director for McGettigan Partners (now Maritz) and led the opening of their office and presence in the southeast winning customers like MCI, UCB Pharma, Coca-Cola & BellSouth (then Cingular, now AT&T)

In 2001, he accepted a position in Global Strategic Events at The Coca-Cola Company, where he spent 9 years designing, branding and executing national & global hospitality programs, meetings, events and incentives aimed at positioning Coca-Cola in the marketplace. In 2010, Greto was promoted to Coca-Cola’s Sports & Entertainment Marketing team leading all of Coke’s North America Golf Strategy, Activation and experiences, including, but not limited to, their title sponsorship of the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola.

Currently employed by Ciena Corporation as their Director, Global Events Marketing, he manages a dynamic, passionate team who run internal meetings and events, B2B Customer / Partner experiences, as well as evolving Ciena’s new brand re-positioning in the marketplace through Ciena Event Marketing experiences.

Michael is passionate about building relationships and being a trusted advisor for his friends, family and business associates. Michael and his wife, Dominique Love, recently bought a farm and reside in the community of Serenbe, 25 miles south of Atlanta in Chattahoochee Hills, GA. He has a son, Hampton,(9) and two dogs, Biscuit & Stella. Michael loves all things Food, Wine, Bourbon, SEC Football & Golf.
