Stuart Levy

Stuart Levy, MBA, PhD, CMP, is an associate teaching professor of management at the George Washington University School of Business. His teaching, consulting, and research expertise focuses on experiential learning and gamification.  Stuart developed a pioneering approach utilizing scavenger hunts for educational team-building experiences, featured in the 2022 EdInnovate Showcase (Scavenger HuntEd: Gamifying Place-Based Learning). In addition, his innovative, multi-method approach to customer experience evaluation has been used to evaluate event, hospitality and tourism performance, and has been featured in the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly.   

At George Washington University, Stuart teaches leadership, entrepreneurship, and event and hospitality management courses to undergraduate and graduate students. He serves on the School of Business Teaching Excellence Task Force and Dean’s Diversity Council. Stuart is an appointed member of the Educator Advisory Team and Faculty Advisor for Harvard Business Publishing. He is proud to have been received the 2021 Most Influential Faculty Member Award for George Washington University’s New Venture Competition.
