Leo Piccioli, 51, has a BS in Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he graduated Cum Laude.
In 1998 he joined Officenet, right after selling the family-owned business. Officenet was one of the few successful dotcom companies in Latam. It was sold for more than USD30MM to Staples, Inc.
Leo stayed with the company, running the region, until 2016. In September he was awarded the “Executive of the Year” award by the “Asociación de Dirigentes de Empresa” and, that same month, he left the company to help other leaders lead better embracing technology.
In 2018, 2019, and 2020 he published books (two of them best-sellers) on leadership and technological change and gave hundreds of conferences in congresses, events, and companies.
In 2018 LinkedIn included him in the Top Voices list, and in 2019 Entrepreneur magazine named him as one of the 20 influencers in the region. In 2019 and 2022 he gave TED talks, one of them in front of 20,000 people. And yes, he still gets a bit anxious about that.
