SVP, Strategic Projects at MCI USA


Heidi Voorhees Haneberg has led many strategic change initiatives for complex associations and large events throughout her career. Her background includes leadership positions in both nonprofit and corporate sectors, including specific expertise in the association and events industries. She is currently the SVP of Strategic Projects at MCI USA, where she leads executive-level program, organizational, talent management, and change initiatives across all of MCI USA’s business units.

Heidi was most recently a Principal at Vector Velocity, LLC, an event, technology, and association consulting practice. Prior to that, she held career positions as COO of AVIXA, C-level roles at several technology start-ups, SVP at Experient, and VP of Strategic Initiatives at IFT. Heidi has studied and implemented design thinking initiatives for more than 10 years, received her Master Designer designation from Martiz Global, has an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, and a BS degree from Central Michigan University.
