Regional Director of Operations, Levy Restaurants
Matthew Moss is originally from New Zealand and grew up in the hospitality industry. With a father in tourism and a mother in the hotel business, the desire to serve and provide great experiences was driven from a young age. Matt’s desire to create experiences led him to an opportunity at the Las Vegas convention center. As the Assistant Director of Catering he supported a growing catering operation and was part of the planning team for the expansion of the center to over 3.2 million sq. ft. His success at managing extraordinary events led him to opportunities as General Manager at both the Albuquerque Convention Center and the Baltimore Convention Center.
In 2017 Matthew had the opportunity to join the Levy team in Louisville, overseeing the construction of the food service operations, partnering with Curiology and the Design and Construction team to create a state of the art operation with dynamic portable restaurants, a tasting kitchen and a locally born Coffee by day Bourbon by night concept. Matthew lives in Louisville, KY, with his wife Rosanna, his two daughters, Sarai and Noelle, and his son, Xavier.
